This is a fossil leaf plate from the Green River Formation of Utah. It features a beautiful 2.6" wingnut (Pterocarya roanensis) leaf with nice detail preservation.

While the Green River Formation is best known for its fish fossils from Wyoming, other areas produce incredible plant fossils.
