This is a fossil balloon vine leaf from the Green River Formation of Utah. It measures 1.7" long and is located alongside a cluster of at least ten craneflies (family Tipulidae). The plate itself measures 4.4 x 2.9".
While the Green River Formation is best know for its fish fossils, other areas produce incredible plant and insect fossils.
