This is a 2.8" wide slab of shale containing two fossil leaves. The largest is a legume (Leguminosites lesquereuxiana) leaf, preserved alongside a mimosite (Mimosites coloradensis) leaf. This specimen was collected from the Green River Formation in Utah.

While the Green River Formation is best known for its fish fossils from Wyoming, other areas produce incredible plant fossils.
