1.2" Fossil Willow Leaf and Flower - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a partial 1.2" long fossil willow leaf preserved alongside a flower, collected from the Green River Formation, Uintah County, Utah. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora and insect fauna.

Comes with an acrylic display stand.

The backside of this plate contains a partial sumac Rhus nigricans leaf.
