.6" Detailed Fossil Feather, Leaf, Crane Flies & Beetle - Utah

This is a .6" long fossil feather, a plant fossil (balloon vine), beetle (order Coleoptera), and multiple fossil crane flies (family Tipulidae) from the Eocene aged Green River Formation of Utah. The opposite side of the rock contains a near complete leaf of the species Oreopanax elongatum. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse fauna.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
