Fossil Cranefly (Pronophlebia) - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a cluster of four fossil crane flies (Pronophlebia redivivia) from the Green River Formation, Uintah County, Utah. Many of the legs of these crane flies can be seen preserved on the rock as well. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.

Comes with an acrylic stand.
