4" Fossil Sycamore (Macginitiea) Leaf - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a beautiful, 4" long (including stem) fossil sycamore (Macginitiea wyomingensis). It bears brown preservation, crisp edges, and is located on a slab of shale.

Comes with an acrylic display stand.

It comes from the Green River Formation in Uintah County, Utah. While this formation is best known for well-preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain very diverse flora and insect fauna.
