Fossil Ant, Wasp, Crane Fly - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a fossil Ant (Formicidae) and Wasp (Hymenoptera) and Crane Fly (Tipulidae) from the Green River Formation, Uintah County, Utah. In addition to the insects, there is an unidentified fruit present.

While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.
