.5" Detailed Fossil Feather and Crane Flies - Green River Formation
This is a .5" long fossil feather and multiple fossil crane flies (family Tipulidae) from the Eocene aged Green River Formation of Utah. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse fauna.
