.3" Detailed Robber Fly Fossil - Green River Formation

This is a fossil fly commonly know as a robber fly (family Asilidae) from the Green River Formation is Utah. It is well detailed with a length of .3". While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.
