Large, 6.6" Wide Ophiura Brittle Star Fossil

This is a very large Ophiura brittle star fossils from the Kataoua Formation of Morocco. It's 6.6" wide and nicely centered an a solid slab of limestone. These Ophiura brittle stars are Ordovician in age, or approximately 450 million years. The dark orange/brown coloration is due to the oxidization of iron pyrite.
Comes with a display stand.
