6.2" Slab With Multiple Starfish Urasterella Fossils - Oklahoma
This is very rare specimen from the Bromide Formation of Oklahoma. It came from a pocket that was dug several years ago and very little starfish material has come from the Bromide Formation outside of this pocket. This 6.4 x 4.2" slab of limestone contains several partial starfish of the genus Urasterella.
While the species was not described the occurrence of these starfish was mentioned in the paper linked below.
