7" Fossil Leaf Plate - Green River Formation, Utah

This is an interesting fossil leaf plate from the Green River Formation, Utah. It contains three leaves, with one being complete and the other two as partials. The primary venation is preserved on each leaf, and the dark preservation color contrasts nicely against the creme-colored shale.

While the Green River Formation is best know for its fish fossils, other areas produce incredible plant fossils.

Comes with an acrylic stand.
