.6" Detailed Fossil Feather and Leaf - Green River Formation, Utah

This is a .6" long fossil feather from the Eocene aged Green River Formation of Utah. A leaf (Mimosites coloradensis) fossil can also be seen on the rock preserved alongside the feather. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse fauna.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
