5.6" Three Fossil Pecten (Scallops) - Gironde, France
This is a trio of Early Miocene aged fossil pecten (Pecten scabrellus) from near Gironde, France. These elegant fossil are still partially embedded in the limestone in which they were found. Two of the pecten are on one side of the rock and a larger one on the reverse.
