.46" Detailed Fossil Crane Fly (Tipula) Larva - France
This is a nicely preserved fossil crane fly larva of the genus Tipula, collected from an Oligocene-aged shale deposit near Cereste in Southern France. It measures .46" long. Both halves of the split are present on this specimen, with one half glued to the largest slab of shale.
It comes with an acrylic display stand.
