This is a detailed, .4" fossil cricket (Pronemobius smithii) from the Green River Formation in Uintah County, Utah. There are also a pair of fossil leaves (Mimosite) associated with it on the same piece of shale.
While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.
