3.6" Jurassic Aged Cycad (Zamites) - France

This is a rare 3.6" fossil cycad (Zamites feneonis) from Orbagnoux, France. It is very well preserved and retains some plant material. Cycads are coniferous seed plants with thick trunks and pinnately compound leaves.

There is a repaired crack running through the rock and the fossil. It comes with an acrylic display stand.
