6.1" Plate of Pennsylvanian Seed Fern Fossils - Kansas
These are well defined, 3D fossil seed ferns from the Pennsylvanian aged Tonganoxie Sandstone of Ottawa, Kansas. The two pinnules are seed ferns of the genus Pecopteris, with the longest pinnule measuring 3.1" long. There are also two seed fern fossils of the genus Macroneuropteris, however both are partial.
