.27" Detailed Fossil Marsh Fly with Cranefly - Cereste, France
This is a .27" long fossil marsh fly (Tetanocera variculata) with a fossil cranefly (order Tipulidae) collected from an Oligocene-aged shale deposit near Cereste in southern France. The specimen comes with an acrylic display stand.
