.25" Rare, Enrolled Upplandiops Calvus Trilobite - Russia
This is .25" long, enrolled Upplandia calvus trilobite from the St. Petersburg region of Russia. It comes from the Veltsi Formation which is Middle Ordovician in age. If this specimen was fully outstretched it would measure around .8" long. The shell is in excellent condition and great care was taken to prep this specimen. This species is rare and very little is known about it.
