Two, Oligocene-Aged Fossil Seed Bugs (Aphanus) - France
This piece of shale contains two fossil seed bugs (order Hemiptera, family Lygaeidae), collected from an Oligocene-aged shale deposit near Cereste in Southern France. The largest bug measures .28" long and has nice preservation detail.
It comes with an acrylic display stand.
