Paleocene Fossil Cone (Parataxodium) - North Dakota

This is a beautiful cone fossil of Parataxodium sp., collected from the Sentinel Butte Formation of North Dakota. It is finely detailed and the light preservation contrasts well against the dark orangish-brown rock.
