1.7" Ordovician Brittle Star (Ophiura) Fossil

This is a 1.7" wide Ophiura brittle star fossils from the Kataoua Formation of Morocco.These Ophiura brittle stars are Ordovician in age, or approximately 450 million years. The dark orange/brown coloration is due to the oxidization of iron pyrite.
