COMURA TRILOBITES FOR SALE

Comura is a Devonian trilobite from Morocco that is highly sought after by collectors for its incredible array of spines. When properly prepared, the whole defensive armament of more than 40 free-standing spines can be displayed. A well-prepared Comura can take 40-50 hours of work by a skilled fossil preparator, but because the spines are so delicate most specimens on the market have reconstructed (fake) spines. We are always upfront in our listings about any restoration on trilobites, and offer specimens with both real and fake spines.
