1.5" Polished Zebra Calcite Worry Stones

Worry stones are smooth, polished stones, usually in the shape of an oval, with a thumb-sized indentation. They are often used by people for relaxation or anxiety relief purposes, the same way as some people use a fidget spinner. Typically, worry stones are 1 1/2 to 2 inches across. They may also be referred to as palm stones, thumb stones, fidget stones, etc.

Zebra calcite is a banded formation of calcite/aragonite (CaCO3) that comes out of Mexico. It can also be found on the market labeled as "banded aragonite", "zebra aragonite", and "phantom banded calcite". It often features alternating layers of white, black, brown, and golden yellow calcite. The color changes are a result of layered deposition in which different impurities resulted in varied coloration over time.
