4.7" Polished Banded Pink Mangano Calcite Bear - South Africa
This is an absolutely gorgeous, 4.7" wide polished bear sculpted from brilliant pink, banded mangano (manganese-bearing) calcite, collected in Peru. The polish work on this specimen is second to none with none of the scuff marks or dull areas like those found on lesser quality material. The base has been cut flat so it stands up nicely on a hard surface.
