2.7" Polished Que Sera Stone Sphere - Brazil
This is an absolutely beautiful, polished sphere made out of Que Sera stone from Brazil. It measures 2.7" in diameter and comes with the pictured display stand.
Que sera stone is a trade name for unique varieties of rhyolite (a volcanic rock with high silica content) known for striking, opalescent, blue quartz phenocrysts that seem to glow in the sunlight. It is found exclusively in Brazil but is very similar in appearance and composition to Llanite found in Texas. The stones contain a variety of minerals, including quartz, feldspar, kaolinite, iron oxides, magnetite, clinozoisite, and leucozene.
