1.3" Polished Ruby Zoisite Sphere - Tanzania

This is an absolutely gorgeous, polished sphere made out of polished ruby zoisite from Tanzania, Africa. It measures 1.3" in diameter and comes with the pictures display stand.

This is a variety of zoisite known as "ruby zoisite". The associated minerals are green zoisite, black amphibole streaks and small pockets of opaque ruby. This type of zoisite is used as a carving gemstone as well as a minor gem.
