Three Fossil Wasps (Myrica) - Green River Formation, Colorado
This is a plate of three fossil wasps (Myrica sp.), collected from the Green River Formation of Rio Blanco County, Colorado. The largest measures 0.19" long. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse flora and insect fauna.
