Scarce Pseudodechenella Trilobite - Centerfield Limestone
This is a large, very 3D and rarely offered Pseudodechenella rowi from the Centerfield Limestone of NY. It's partially enrolled but the preservation is impeccable. If it was fully prone it would be around 1.6 inches in length. A beautiful trilobite.
The few NY Pseudodechenellas you see typically come from the Hamilton Group, where the trilobites have been compressed. Due to the very hard, sledge-hammer breaking composition of the limestone of the Centerfield Limestone, the preservation if perfectly 3D.
