Large Fossil Starfish (Petraster?) - Part/Counterpart
This is a beautifully preserved Petraster starfish from the Ordovician aged Tioririne Formation near Blekus, Morocco. The orange coloration of the fossils is due to oxidization of iron pyrite which originally replaced the fossils.
