Large, "Flying" Hollardops Trilobite - 2.96"

At a very large Hollardops with amazing preservation and preparation. The shell detail on this specimen is amazing showing all of the little bumps and eye facets, just check out some of the closeup photos. It has been prepared so that it rests on a free-standing pedastal of matrix, "flying" above the rock. At 2.96" long this is very large for a Hollardops and it is laid out almost perfectly prone. Many hours of preparation work went into this fantastic specimen. There hasn't been any significant restoration work done to this specimen.
