Huge 7.2" Gigantopygus Trilobite - Issafen, Morocco

In the past couple of years, deposits near Issafen, Morocco have begun yielding a new assemblage of Early Cambrian trilobites. This is a huge specimen of one of the rarer components of the fauna Gigantopygus papillatus.

It's 7.2" inches long, nicely prepared and has NO RESTORATION. This is certainly one of if not the best specimen of this species I've seen.
