Huge, 1.9" Devil Horned Cyphaspis Walteri Trilobite

Here is HUGE example of the Devonian trilobite Cyphaspis walteri sometimes referred to as the "Devil Horn" Cyphaspis for obvious reasons. At 1.9" long (including spines) this is probably the largest example of the species I have seen. All of the spines have been prepared free-standing.

This species was finally formally described in 2014. A link to the paper can be found below.
