Rare, 1.7" Bellacartwrightia Trilobite - New York

This is a rare, and very large, 1.71" long example of Bellacartwrightia whiteleyi from the Windom Shale of NY. These trilobites are very tough to find complete, and most are under an inch line length. It's laid out nicely with good preparation. Notice the presence of tiny axial nodes which separate it from the more common Greenops.
