2.8" Carboniferous Fossil Fern (Sphenopteris) Plate - Poland
This is a very well preserved fossil fern (Sphenopteris) plate from the Silesia Coal Beds, Poland. There are six leaflets of a frond in this specimen. It is likely that they are all from the same plant but it is difficult to say with certainty.
