Fossil Crane Fly (Pronophlebia) Cluster- Green River Formation
This is a very nice fossil crane fly (Pronophlebia redivivia?) cluster from the Green River Formation of Uintah County, Utah. Few of the wings and/or legs are preserved, but the bodies and heads are well preserved.
While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.
Comes with an acrylic stand.
