Fossil Crane Flies and Beetle - Green River Formation, Utah

These are two crane flies next to an unidentified beetle (order Coleoptera), collected from the Green River Formation in Utah. There is also a partial leaf and other unidentified flora specimens on this plate. While this formation is best known for well preserved fossil fish found in Wyoming, other sections of the formation contain a very diverse insect fauna.

It comes with an acrylic display stand.
