Dark Shelled, 3D Gerastos Trilobite
Here's an inexpensive of the Proetida trilobite Gerastos tuberculatus from the Middle Devonian of Morocco. The Proetidae family of trilobites was the last group to go extinct at the end of the Permain period. It has beautiful preservation just missing some shell on the right side of it's head.
This is a specimen which I purchased as part of a lot partially prepared and did some final cleanup/detail work on it myself. There is nice shell detail and no restoration.
