Bargain, 3D Gerastos Trilobite Fossils (Grade B)
These are authentic Gerastos trilobite fossils quarried near Issoumour, Morocco. Gerastos is a small proetid trilobite that is fairly abundant. These trilobites were found encased in hard limestone and have been prepared using mechanical tools to expose their detailed shell.
They are quite 3D and range from about .6 to 1" long. These are real trilobite fossils, not molds or casts and the shell is the natural color. They're not perfect, many will have some areas of shell restoration, surface weathering or airscribe scratches from preparation. They are an exceptionally good value for the price.
The photos are representative of the trilobites being sold, but are not the exact specimens that you will receive. Although not shown, some of these trilobites are enrolled.

About Trilobites
Trilobites are an extinct class of marine arthropods that thrived for nearly 270 million years, from the early Cambrian to the end of the Permian period (around 521 to 252 million years ago). They are one of the most successful and diverse groups in the history of life, with over 25,000 described species spanning a wide range of sizes, shapes, and ecological niches. Known for their distinctive, segmented exoskeletons, trilobites provide invaluable insights into the evolutionary history of arthropods and the dynamics of ancient marine ecosystems.
