.8" Fossil Running Rhino (Hyracodon) Tooth - South Dakota

This is a .8" molar from the mandible (lower jaw) of the running rhino, Hyracodon nebraskensis. It was collected from the the Brule Formation in South Dakota and would be approximately 32-34 million years old.
