5" Drotops Trilobite - Excellent Faceted Eyes
This is a large, detailed, 5" long (if outstretched) Drotops trilobite quarried from Issoumour, Morocco. It's good size for this large phacopid species and has excellent shell detail including beautiful eye facet preservation. The limestone has been removed from around it leaving it flying above the base of rock on a pedastal. A really aesthetic specimen, with only some very minor restoration along the repaired cracks.
