5.3" Pliocene, Rabbit (Oryctolagus?) and Rodent Fossil - France
This is a block of breccia rock from France containing disarticulated fossils of several small Pliocene epoch mammals, including a rabbit (Oryctolagus?) and several unidentified rodents. Within the stone are identifiable jaws, tarsals, partial skulls, teeth, and various other skeletal elements.
