.4 Inch Agnostid Trilobite, McKay Group, BC
Here is a large Agnostid trilobite from the Upper Cambrian McKay Group of British Columbia. Agnostids were a small blind trilobite that had a benthic (bottom-dwelling) mode of life. While they are common at many middle Cambrian localities they are a fairly rare trilobite within the McKay group representing far less that 1% of the trilobites collected. This is a particularly well preserved and large (by agnostic standards) specimen.
