5.3" Spiny Selenopeltis Trilobite Fossil - Erfoud, Morocco
This is a large, 5.3" long (including spines), spiny odontopleurid trilobite (Selenopeltis buchi). These trilobites are quarried east of Erfoud, Morocco from the Upper Tiouririne Formation. There is approximately 2% shell restoration on this specimen along repaired cracks.
