3.2" Devonian Petrified Wood (Callixylon) Section - Oldest True Wood

This is a 3.2" long section of Upper Devonian petrified wood (Callixylon trifilievii) from the St. Petersburg Region of Russia. Callixylon is the oldest of the true, woods and this specimen would date back to approximately 380 million years old.

There are two repaired cracks through this thin limb, hence the reduced price.
