2.8" Rare Kayserops megaspina (Comura cometa)
This is a rare Kayserops megaspina from Bou Lachrhal, Morocco. In the past this trilobite has often been referred to as “Comura cometa", but it actually bears few similarities with the genus Comura. At 2.8" long this is a large specimen of the species and the preparation is excellent. All of the small free-standing spines are preserved, and it has great eye facets in both eyes. There is no restoration on this specimen.
