3.95" Paleocene Fossil Plant Plate - North Dakota
This is a beautiful plate containing a branchlet impression from the coniferous genus Parataxodium and a beautiful G. cranei leaf, collected from the Sentinel Butte Formation of North Dakota. It is finely detailed and the light preservation contrasts well against the dark orangish-brown rock. A seed pod is also present on the plate.
