This is a 2.75" fossil leaf from Leguminosites lesquereuxiana, a type of legume. It is Eocene in age and comes from the Green River Formation. It is accompanied by a possible legume seed pod (1.05" including stem).
This plate comes the Green River Formation and the area in Uintah County, Utah. This is the same formation that is famous for producing well preserved fish fossils, but a different member and location.

A note on Green River leaf identifications. Over 60 described leaf bearing plants have been identified from this formation, many of which have very similar leaves. We have done our best to provide identifications based on the resources available to us, but we are not paleobotany experts and cannot guarantee that all will be 100% correct.
